compost tea

has anybody had experience using compost tea
while browsing youtube i came across a method of feeding veg
using an aerated bucket of compost and water with sugars added.
apparently you aerate for 12 hours then dilute and feed your
veg with amazing results.have any members any recipes for the tea
as the ingredient list was a bit vague.

Not come aross that one but Comfrey tea is well known .  Big handful of Comfrey leaves place in a bucket cover with water and leave (as far from people as possible it stinks) When the comfrey has broken down dilute 10 to 1 with water and use as a liquid feed.

I'v made 25ltr's of nettle tea for this coming summer. You make it the same as Celtic Eagle suggests for comfrey tea and it stinks really bad so I'm going to bottle it up.

Another method we've used is a sack or in our case a pillow case full of well rotted farmyard manure which is left to soak for a couple of weeks in large barrel of water and then used as a liquid feed,my grandad who grew his own for years always used this method and it worked well for us last year too.
