mild sileage!!  :o not sure I want to be smelling that!  can think of nicer things to have a whiff of!

'Acquired' smells is one of the reasons I am so keen to get my compost bin behind the shed and in the shade :tongue2:  

I had a go at moving some of the paving slabs last night - looks like they'll come up fairly easily so hopefully by this weekend I can start composting!   8)

my son says some of the compost around smells like 'real bad farts mum' which makes me laugh cos he says it so funny!!!  

I think newcastle brown ale smells worse!

but if smelly compost is good for helping stuff grow then i ll have some of that! :D

The worst smell is comfrey liquid - even the flies think it is sewerage.

I think a lot of these smells we get used to - except sewerage and rotting flesh, Probably genetics program us to avoid those things.
