OMG that is one hell of a set of boobs GA.

Are your turkey's selling well?  My brother says that people are just not buying round here.  He's got a large flock of Norfolk Bronze.
Cheese makes everything better.

I wish I lived closer so we could have one of yours but we do live near a farm that Rick Stein mentioned and ours is coming from there. The first year we lived here my sons tried to convince me that the turkey would be handed over with a lead attached so I could walk it home  Fortunately it came "naked" like yours.

Ice, 'They' reckon turkeys will be in short supply this year, but we've only sold about 25% of ours so far, but hopefully things will pick up a bit, if not, its turkey every day for the next year or 2!!!!

Poolfield, find out how much those turkeys are first.  We have a good courier, and our prices are the cheapet I've seen on the internet so far!!

i think there is time yet Grannie as if you do not have anywhere to store one cold then it's best to leave it until nearer the time?  If kept in a garage say how long do they keep for?

Hi Cawdor, people buying on the internet won't have a problem with storing a turkey, as they are well wrapped in the ice packaging we bought, and they reckon, even if just left in the box the turkeys are fine for days, but if its also in a cold place like a garage, then a week should be fine.

I am hoping we get more people in the next couple of weeks though.  They only have to order their turkey, most people are collecting them on Christmas Eve!

And thanks Poolfield, I have PM'd you back!!!!

They look fantastic GA - might be a bit big for 2 though.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

That looks amazing GA.

My family have asked me to get a goose but if I can't get one might have to drop you a line
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

would love to hear from you Kate. we have just done 4 geese for someone, but I think she has orders for them all.

It's the first time she's done it though, and they aren't very big.  Not that goose is a meaty bird anyway, but........
