I must be really anal ... my spreadsheet has a weekly 'Done' list, so I can see at a glance what happened when and where. Helps me to have it all in one place, and it's easily updated (because I'm a sad person with no life and often in front of a computer).

I'm with you (I have no life) I have a laminated wall planner (all colour coded) and I also keep a diary of when and how I've done everything and include notes on successes. Each to their own

I began using Google's free 3D drawing tool Sketch-Up to draw a 3D map of my plot.  This is so cool but a bit geeky.

It takes a little time to get used to but there are loads of online video tutorials.  I recon in a couple of hours (spent on cold,wet,dark weekends) I'll have a permanent 3D map of my allotment to use as a planting guide.

Am I going too far?
