hi ppl, hens still not laying yet, but we have hope. anyone know if hens eat ivy, will it harm them in any way :?

i looked at that list and found out ivy is bad , i have one of the tpyes of ivy growing and the baby chicks have been eating it but they are seeming healhy enough an they havebeen no runny poos from them or anything , so to tell u the truth i dont know if its really that bad or not.

i will be fencing this area of tomorrw though just in case.

Hi, my girls have been eating ivy in the garden since they were 10 weeks old, they still do and are now 1 1/2 years old and seem very happy and healthy, and in 3 weeks we are all moving from a city back yard to a suburban garden that is huge, for the girls to play in. Am busy building a new run now. :lol:
