Rosemary bush losing pines, turning grey and looks like its dying.  Maybe due to clay / poor soil, hard winter, over-cropping during winter months??

Any advice for rosemary care much appreciated - we use so much!

i have found that like lavender, Rosemary didn't like being cut back into the old wood and died. So i always make sure i have more than one bush to cut from, taking cuttings to keep them coming

Wet soil over the last winter may well have killed it.  They're tough as old boots in light soil, but they do not like being damp in cold weather.

Ah, our wet cold clay may not be helping then!  Thx for advice.

If you do need a new one go down to Lidl next Saturday (2/05) onwards as they have potted herbs for £3.27 (clay pot 14 cm) Could be a back up in case yours does die completely
