Hi there guys is it possible to grow avocados in this country.
Do they have any special needs other than heat.
And has any of you ever done it, and succeeded :?: :?: :?:

We get frost here in the Alpujarras, and my tree suffered one year when the temperature dropped to -12!!!!! Avocados do well on the coast here (no frost!). My Avocado looked like it had copped it in the hard frost but this year it's bounced back! So the long-winded answer to your question is watch out for the frost!!!!
