I've noticed that a couple of my hens have developed pink feet  it's mainly on the bottom & on the webs of their feet :?  my 1st guess is red mite but any other ideas would be welcome

It wont be redmite Rich,  there's hardly any blood supply to the feet and they'd never get their chompers through the scales anyway.Its almost certainly natural pigmentation. Do the chickens in question have light or white coloured legs ?

It could also be down to the diabolicaly wet and muddy weather but either way, its nothing to be too concerned about.

Thanks Bodger  yes they are whitish legged. Glad to know it's nothing to worry about, the one that's has the most colouring is moulting so she's looking rather sorry for herself anyway
