rotation for overwinterers

5 years into veg gardening and i'm still confused about rotation. Does anyone know of a good website/thread, that would help specifically when the raised beds are used through winter aswell.

thanks in advance.
Liv.

i use johns simple 3 year rotation of spuds>brassicas>others.

for winter veg i use next years brassica bed then when the winter veg has finished i put in the summer brassicas in the same place.
for example when i put leeks where the first earlies were, winter and spring cabbage where the 2nd earlies were leaving me some room to get in the early starting summer brassicas in the new year.

hope this helps?

Can I just ask... I have had some calabrese marathon in a raised bed since July and they are nearly finished with. They have only been used for 1 weeks so can I follow with more brassicas and then change to something else next spring? Or do I need to rotate straight away?

thanks
