co-operative worming?

I think its time my girls were wormed, but ive been looking at the cost of flubenvet and since ive only four girls the cost is rediculous!

Im wondering if theres anyone with a large flock, and therefore has the wormer in bulk, who could provide me with a few cost effective doses?

Perhaps we could set up a workers co-op!

Shocking isn't it   :!:

I've just purchased a tub from SPR as Dinner had worms, far more than I'll probably ever need. Not sure the Royal Mail would take kindly to sending unidentified bags of white powder in the post though...

I seem to recall someone mentioning they were going to produce a smaller amount for home use, wonder if anything came of it?

There's a sticky about the smaller amount here, still expensive though :?

I sent some through the post a bit a go in a jiffy bag, it arrived no problems :D

As a site official I do have to state that doing so is illegal (for a number of reasons) especially if you exchange metal discs or pieces of paper for it.

I've done it in the past though

We could always barter. Whose got a new flatscreen tele that they don't want.

Going back to Panacur   in the past, its been ideal because I've been able to use it on the sheep and the chickens. Why not try some on the kids or the OH?

I think it's more about Health & Safety and original packaging than the finances.

More likely 'patents' and 'copyright'. :tongue2: ;)
I demand the right to buy seed of varieties that are not "distinct, uniform and stable".

I have a very large tub and only 5 chickens - just for Robs record obviously but if anyone did happen to pm me it might fall into an envelope, that just happened to be addressed....
