When I contacted Broxtowe Borough Council, they told me I ought to contact Stapleford Town Council (details below - you are better off e-mailing but note they are usually shut on Fridays). I don't know where you would go for Trowell etc in the NG10 area. There used to be a few vacancies in Stapleford, but this year has seen a waiting list on my site for the 1st time in ages:
The Stapleford Town Council manage 5 allotment sites for residents of Stapleford only:
- Albany site (on Pasture Road near Man of Iron public house)
- Peatfield site (on Peatfield Road, left hand side of Pasture Road)
- Bessell Lane
- Ewe Lamb Lane (corner of Ewe Lamb Lane and Central Avenue)
- Nottingham Road (behind the Play Forum, opposite the Rockwell Court flats)
For enquiries of availability, contact Mrs Margaret Downie, The Town Clerk in the first instance:
- e-mail: staplefordtc@yahoo.co.uk
- tel: 0115 939 1818 (manned part-time between 11.30am-1.30pm Mon-Thurs)
