Hoping to make some  apple juice in the next couple of weeks. Some into cider and hope to freeze the rest as 'apple juice'
We, and friends, have saved about 50 plastic milk bottles, pint sized. How can we sterilize them so that we can keep them, full of juice, in the freezer.

Is there a commercial product that we can wash the containers in. Any suggestions welcomed.

I believe, but don't quote me, that if you run them through a cycle in a dish washer that gets hot enough to sterilize them...

You could always use the stuff for sterilising baby bottles........old fashioned brand was Milton dont know if there's a newer version.
Or big Boots branches sell stuff for sterilising bottles for diy wine making.
