Herbs in an old sink?
My rosemary bush is too big for the sink, it's a few years old and has got rather large.

Will try planting chives and basil at the edge of the patch and see how I get on with them. The rest can go in the sink with plenty of grit,  I have a nice sunny spot where they can go.

Basil is the only one that you mentioned that's a tender annual, so you'd need to grow that one indoors to start with, or plant seeds in about June and cross your fingers. I struggle to germinate basil outdoors.

Mmmmm - found out about the basil when i planted my husband's nice little basil plant outside in a pot and didn't bring it in when it got cold - it is now no more!
