Doves
« on: September 23, 2008, 19:44 »
Hi all .....  We've had two doves for about five weeks now. They've been kept in four weeks and then let out to fly in the last week.

Within a week of us getting them they had built a nest and had two eggs, they took turns setting on them even after the netting that kept them in had been removed.

Three days ago we noticed that both birds were out in the garden flying around and the eggs had been left, so we removed the eggs and found them to be rotten

The problem is we are seeing less and less of the two of them, only saw them once today and they are not back to roost

Any thoughts on what to do :(
??? I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous... ???
