But..... A lot of the foliage is dying back now. It is still throwing the odd flower up with all this lovely weather we've had today.Question is, will she get any bigger?
Life begins... On the kitchen windowsill.

if the foliage is dying back now, I'd be inclined to get rid of any other flowers and try to get Briany growing a bit bigger!!!!

I have one of the runners trained up the back fence, and that's still going strong. Should I bite the bullit and give all the runners the chop?

I can only tell you what I'd do srebmob.  The runner may be going strong, but is there time for more fruits to grow and ripen?

My courgettes are beginning to die back now, so I'm just trying to concentrate on getting the existing ruits growing, same with my tomatoes.  As I've got a bit of blight on quite a few, I'm taking off any more flowers that are coming so the goodness goes into the fruits I've got hoping they will ripen naturally before they get blighted.

Edited to add: There's a big table in the middle of our allotments, where folk can put any unwanted fruit/veg for others to take away. I have never seen soooooooooooo many marrows in my life!

Sometimes I wish I had an allotment!

All I've been given so far is a small bag of apples and enough elderberris for 3 gallons of wine!!!

Just drink the 3 gallons of wine, and you will forget why you ever wanted a courgette or 30
