Hiya, new to growing this year, done quite well so far but want to know what i can start sowing now? Got a raised bed that has had onions growing in.

I've just sowed some more cauliflowers, swede, savoy cabbage and kale.
Also some spring onions, various salad leaves, late peas, herbs, carrots, purple sprouting broccoli, beetroot, radishes, shallots,  spinach, lettuce, turnip / swede and garlic.

Hiya, im fine, i know you look forward to time with the kids, but roll on Wed.
Youve given me loads of ideas of stuff to plant, thanks heaps, id found one type of cabbage i could plant but hadnt found anything else.
Garden centre here i come.

Little experiment but might be of some use to you, who knows.

Anyway i just put some compost in my coldframe/ green house thingy and sowed some carrots (early nantes 5) in it. My plan is too put the cover down when it starts becoming frosty. Then fingers crossed fresh carrots for Christmas dinner.

Mine don't want go to back to school, just paid for most of the school uniforms cost me an absolute fortune, have to go get the jumpers tomorrow morning.

Hubby built me a cold frame so i could give more carrots a go.
Uniform not too bad this year, will cost a bomb next year tho as eldest stars secondary school and youngest starts infants.
