I know i'm daft for doing this, but these are first spuds i have grown and so chuffed with them. Dug these out today from my front yard with eveyine looking at me as though i was insane. One woman said blooming hell you'd £5 for them from the corner shop. Needless to say i was chuffed.
These are the ones that escaped the pan.



Never thought pots tasted so good.
Who needs a guard-dog when you can have cats for guards!

Yep thats them Desiree, bought them for 50p out of Wilkos, didn't think they would work but hey presto they lived and will be gone by end of the week  :twisted:

Thanks i always feel daft posting photos my OH called me mad and walked out the room shaking his head at me. Just hoping the rest of them in the big tubs will be just as good.

Bargain there, kez! They make lovely creamy mash. It's the first time I've grown them and will deff do them again next year. Some of mine are absolutely massive. I still have quite a few in the shed and another 2 rows to dig up yet  :D

I know what you mean about posting photos, but don't you just feel dead proud when you harvest something that you've grown from seed!
