hmm, think I might try some mange tout next year, I'm sick of shelling peas already!!

Had home grown french beans (three varieites) peas (two varieties ) courgette and spring onion all home grown mixed up with shop bought broccolli bacon and omelltted egg for tea.  yum-my!!  was going to add a few spuds but couldn't be bothered to cook them first so maybe next time.

Crowndale, they are a mix of peas and mangetout (with a few french beans too)...I have learned my first lesson of not growing a row of peas right next to a row of mangetout, as once they've grown and intermingled it's impossible to tell which is which, so I've just picked them all and we'll eat them all as mangetout.

(Except the two which were obviously peas, so I ate them on the plot before heading home. But we won't tell OH that!   )
