Hi guys, I'm having a problem with my tomatos,brown looking patches on the side of the tomatos.
We have had a lot of rain here in Italy,Could this be the cause, its not end rot.

Arthur, I have a problem with my Pomodora Toms. The green fruit have a pale brownish mark on them a bit like a bruise and when you cut into it goes into the fruit a little way. Dont know what it is but I have destroyed the plants today. Its definately not blight.
I have been having some problems with yellow spots on leaves and think it may be mosaic virus, see my previous post for pictures.
Where did you buy your seed from?

No Grany its more like big Jen describes.I bought them as plants, some plants here are lots cheaper than UK.
I have 30 tomato plants and some are affected and some not. I'd say about 6 of my plants are producing tomatos affected like this.

Oh good Arthur, but I don't know what the problem is then.  DD may know if he reads this, he's been growing tomatoes for over 40 years now!
