I had one bag of 2.5kg Lady Christl and one 2.5kg bag of Charlotte seeds.

My seed Charlottes this year, which were planted in 2 very large i.e. 24" across and 18" high pots and three green tidy spring up bins have had a great yield 20lb so far and one spring up bin to go, which I expect 5lbs from maybe more as I have left these a bit longer for size.

Lady Christl, which I have to say had a slightly superior flavour planted in one very large pot and one spring up bag only 9lb.  Possibly because of less space and I think they are lower yielding anyway compared to Charlotte.

Very pleased with that.  I think Charlotte will be a permeant fixture on my list.  Second year of veg growing in the garden.

Don't ask me the metric weights, just got my head around decimal money.  And I'm only 51.

I found some Charlottes in my plot last November and they were perfick. Those I tried to store didn't, mind you I should have known

I emptied a tub of Ratte out yesterday but only titchy so put the lot back

The leaves on all the Charlottes though have bright brown specks on them.  As if someone has used a fence paint sprayer.  The ones already dug up were ok with this on.  So don't think foilage blight.

I've had 49 spuds from three Charlotte tubers so far    Am well pleased because this is my first growing season on the lottie and never done spuds before...
