Does Diatom or red mite powder kill lice too? If so how often would you dust? I know this q comes up time & time again.  I dusted mine with diatom last thursday, I know it takes a few days, but one is still itching & shaking her head quite a bit.  Thanks in advance

I used Frontline on my girls when I hadn't got that I used the Johnsons Anti mite & insect spray, that killed them straight away    

But I did give them another squirt 7 days later as it don't kill the eggs

I didn't want to use frontline as you can't eat the eggies I believe, I need all the eggies at the moment :roll:  I'm pretty sure that Daitom will kill them, but not the eggs, so probably need to dust every few days to kill any that have hatched, I also put in the dust bath, but they keep moving to other hot spots :roll:  I bought a cat litter tray & they won't go near that :roll:
