Gooseberry bush question
« on: July 13, 2008, 21:57 »
In the Spring we planted 2 gooseberry bushes that were given to us by friends.

The bushes then budded and had lots of leaves (no flowers or fruit, but to be expected as they were transplanted) and all was fine until last week when all the leaves just dropped off

The leaves didn't change colour before hand, they just fell off over a period of a couple of days.

Is this normal (personally, I don't think so) and does it mean that I might as well dig up the bushes and burn them?

Dried out, pollution?

Verticillium wilt?
