just went out to check how chicks and chickens where to discover that five of the chicks have discovered that the big chickens coop is much nicer than their old rabbit hutch!!!all in there with mum and a broody!!its a tight squeeze.waiting to see what happens when the two rhodies who stay up late decide to go to bed!!!the other two chicks are running around looking for the others!!!!!!!!!!! think my little tiny silkie that i was so pleased to get might be a boy,drat drat drat!!!will have to go if he/she is and really wanted to keep him/her!!has got very feisty and had a peck at me today!!!!

Post a pic of the silkie and we can take bets! How old is he/she?
I've found with silkies that they look like a girl when very small (big bumpy head) then as they start getting real feathers they go through a few weeks of making you think you were wrong. Then by 10-12 weeks you can tell again!

all went to bed peacefully!!!!!amazing....they are now 11weeks and i,m trying hard to get my camera sorted out so i can post...out of 7 3 act like boys and 4 like girls....gave them some oats with milk today and they all stood round the bowl,was cute..
