Up here in Cheshire we have had rain nearly every day for two weeks, from memory the very same conditions last year brought Potato blight to our area and most plotters on our site fell victim to it.

Please Mr Weather person can we have some dry sunny days for a while  :sunny:
99% Organic and 1% Slug Pellets.

Allotment holder since 27th May 2007.

On Tuesday the ground was like concrete and even with DH full weight of 18 stone on the fork we couldn't get at our earlies so have had to buy some!  It has rained nearly continuously since then so perhaps we can get at them now.

Well I'm in Herts, and the top 8" of so called soil on the plot is DUST  :evil: ... today is the first real rain we have seen for quite some time ... I gave up sowing seeds about a month ago  :cry:

Cheshire/Derbyshire/Lancashire border is currently torrential rain thunder and lightening.
looks like we're in for wet summer.

Its hot, its raining lots and when its not raining its sunny, my grass is growing 3 inches a week minimum!!!
We use chemicals in this garden, just as god intended

We have had rain here in my neck of the woods for the best part of two days - it even hailed for about 3 mins this afternoon - saves watering, but not able to get out and do anything - managed weeding yesterday in the short time it wasnt raining - its flippin cold too!!  :cry:
