Hello everyone.
We have just registered on the forum but have been reading stuff from it for a while. everyone seems very friendly and the advice I have used has been very helpfull.
We have 3 gorgeous silver laced hybrid girls. Gertie, Wilma and Mable, not wanting to break the forum law pic attached....

The girls have the run of the garden most of the time as we work different times but when we are both working the same day they have to be in their run which the girls enjoyed helping to extend.

We think that Wilma has started to get broody so we are going to give her some fertilized eggs to sit on. The others can help build a bigger house

They're beautiful
Welcome to the Forum. Do you run woodworking courses for the chooks or did they just pick it up themselves?
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

The chooks are beauties. I'll leave your anatomy to the "ladies"( ) of the forum !  :)

Looks like they've got a nice area to run round and explore. Our are, sadly, shut in a run which limits their natural curiosity a bit. One day we shall get the garden sorted for them.

Welcome aboard and enjoy yourself.

Welcome to the forum.  I found lots of useful information on here, especially when I was building the coop.  Everyone is so friendly.

We lived in Nottinghamshire before moving here (bit of useless info  ).

hi foxy, we were allocated an allotment in mid may, its full of couch grass   - those roots go on forever! :? luckly for us the earth is lovey underneath quite sandy, makes those roots come up a little easier. We put in a small veg patch in the garden too (another thing the girls like to "help" with ) , we didn't know how long we'd be on the waiting list for the plot.  Both of us work full time and have 2 kids, oh and not forgetting the girls.... and soppy dog.

Hence - lots to do.
