HIYA

I HAVE JUST PULLED UP MY ONLY 2 GARLICS FOR THE YEAR ( STILL CHUFFED, LIKE!) AND ONE OF THEM HAD LOTS OF LITTLE BABIES MINI CLOVE THINGS AROUND IT. nOW, i'M ASSUMING THESE WILL GROW, BUT HOW CAN i DO IT THE BEST WAY PLEASE? i HAVE 6 TINY MINI CLOVES AT THE MOMENT

They will grow, but I think it will be a two year long go and I am not sure if you get a decent crop or not.

Not long ago someone posted about tiny little foliage growth on hardneck garlic as a sign of bulb formation and all is well, which I had never seen before, none of it on my hard neck, but today I spotted a soft neck one doing it, dug it up, that's what it was: little bulblets forming on the outside of the main bulb.

The only reference I've found to it, described this kind of foliage growth as spring cold damage.

We had these on our elephant garlic last year.  We asked Mr. Boswell who owns the Island's Garlic Farm about them and he said they could be planted and would grow.  He should know.
