Hi Peeps.

It was so hot today.

Today I had the hired help with me.

Sowed some Chard (Bright Lights) & more Turnips (Oasis) that apparently taste like Melons!? Turnips for breakfast it is than.

Photos of plot so far. Sorry it goes on a bit.

Hired help.

Runner Beans

French Beans

Turnips on their way.

Last Nights dinner

More Runners

Bush Cricket

More wildlife in the Plum tree.

Mum's plot all cleared with 6 rows of KW peas sown.
Top tip for camping....don't go.

I thought it was a deliberate play on words as it was so 'ot!

Beans look good, our are a bit behind and had a bit of a set back with the May frost.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

The 4 wigwams with all the Beans have plants that were started off in pots in March & than planted out at the start of May.

The other 4 had seeds sown direct & are now about 2 feet high. Should have Beans all through the Summer.

I'M MOVING  :!:  :!:
We have been down on the plot for most of the day today being blown all over by a very strong wind with clouds of varying shades of grey.
We couldn't entertain putting beans out at the beginning of May - beginning of June is pushing it.
Yours look excellent by the way and I am so jealous.
