Does anyone have any contact address's for Poultry suppliers in North East England,prefer Northumberland or Tyne and Wear area due to cost,plenty elsewhere around the Country but struggling to find one in the NE,I could probably get a few freebies but i'd like to chose my own (kids)

I don't know any off hand but have a look in the back of smallhoder mag they have lots of places all over UK selling birds.

hi try ad trader there is a breeder who sells loads of types off hens really nice and there are lots in from north east i am from middlesbrough and bought mine from there hope it helps

in addition to www.ad-trader.co.uk (follow for livestock>other animals) have you looked in Practical Poultry's breeder section.... there's way to many listed in there to show on this forum!  

I spoke with the woman who has a lot for sale in Bishop Aukland.  Haven't bought from her yet (was waiting for the run to be finished, which it now is) but I intend to get some RIR from her in the very near future to add to my hybrid flock.

If you go on this site to "the poultry pages" at the top there is a section called poultry and egg suppliers (or something like that) and it is listed by area. Hope there is something round your way. :)

good luck with this though;  I've emailed a couple of the NE so-called-suppliers and never got a reply from any of them so if you do then well done  :roll:
