Bought weed control fabric, but it's sooooooooooo thin! looks like the fleece i've got over my carrots, only fleece is white, this is charcoal black. i think it lets too much light in so can't see it would supress weeds. i bought it at poundland, in fact i bought 3. it was wrapped so i couldn't get to see what it was like til i got home.

what can i use it for? any ideas?    :oops:

as you have three of them couldnt you jsut layer them on top of each to make a better triple layer weed control fabric?

Luckily I only bought one, and have used a lot of it lining aquatic baskets for pond plants. Another couple of feet have gone in the bottom of large tubs with built in reservoirs, so that the soil won't wash through the holes into the reservoir.
I reckon it'd be ok with with wood chip or gravel on top, in a low traffic area like around fruit bushes.
