think i got blight on one or two plants of my first earlies which are maris bard, my others - 2nd early nadine and king edward maincrop seem to be unaffected atm.gonna dig up and eat the affected plants.
just thought id post as i know there are one or two others in the lincs area.

If you kill the foliage in situ - like vinegar spray is recommended by the pot council - you are least likely to spread the spores about, but can cut off and burn, too, leave for 2 weeks, and dig spuds up then. In latter case, you are better off, cutting the whole lot, not just those showing signs.

Also consider it for the better good as KE is rather prone to it.

hi all i had blight on my main crop down here in the swale,kent. just a few patches . ive done the cut and burn method, hopefully caught it in time. i think im the first plot to have it as others i spoke to said "blight to early for that" . will keep a close eye for more. earlies and slad crop ok.
