Got my card this morning. DD is in a muddy field at Castle Donnington this weekend but she still remembered.
More than I did. I phoned my dad and apologised but no excuse. I'll make it up to him later.

First anniversary of my Dad passing away.

Great that it's Fathers Day. Celebration of his life + hopefully me being a good Dad!

Was on the plot early this morning after my tea + toast in bed made by my boys. Nice quiet time to reflect.

Pompey Spud-I'd like to say it gets easier and mostly it does but hardly a day goes by when I don't miss mine. He's been gone for years now. The good thing is, it was he who gave me my love of gardening. It 's less painful after the first year or so though. Chin up.

My husband had an allotment book, an autobiography about Slash (Guns n Roses) and, best of all, a remote control flying pterydactyl (not sure about the spelling). The latter has aleady had a flight around the garden (landing in the pond) and another at the allotment.

The kids (23 and 20) came for lunch so a lovely day. They've been my step kids since they were 7 and 4 and they're great.

Well my partner woke up to more pressies (it was his birthday on Tuesday) and a fryup, his favourite meal made by our little ones.

They only 8 and 4 they were so cute making the toast!
