we are lucky enough to have a water supply at both plots and would really struggle if it were'nt there my thought to those who dont some on our sites have to carry water a short distance and i feel for them

My spring has run almost dry. It supplies all our water including the polytunnel! And I live on top of a mountain in North Wales!!???!

We have only had the odd brief heavy shower in the last couple of months. Not nearly enough to raise the water table.

So am keeping everything crossed for a decent downpour soon - Sorry :roll:

Me too,I dont have a water supply and my polytunnel takes plenty of water,so I'm struggling as it gets to about 90+f in there any day the sun shines.

Been dry in Hampshire for only about 6 days, had on and off showers before that and some quite heavy rain about 2 weeks ago.

Looks like some rain from Thursday which is good, as my water butt is about half empty

Sorry to say this everyone but i like the sun, last year was awful. It rained throughout the entire summer holidays.
As far as i am concerned i'd rather carry watering cans about than sit in my house waiting for the sun to come out.

We over  here in the east of england have only had 2 days of nice-ish? weather in the last 10-12 days, so, please do not wish for rain.......tomorrow doesn't look good :cry:  :cry:  :cry:

The growing conditions have been perfect in my part of Norfolk. We have spells of warm/hot sunshine followed by high rainfall for the past 6 weeks, 27c yesterday, 23c forcast today, showers on Wednesday.

 By the way we call climate change, weather in Norfolk.

Q. Why do we not hear anymore about the hole in the Ozone layer.

A. It is no longer there, thats why.

These scientists can make bombs to make lives hell but can't make a system to organise a few hours gentle rain at night and a heavenly sunny day to follow.

There is probably no money to be made in bringing happiness.
