Strangest allotments I've ever seen! Looks more like a shanty town!! Does everyone there keep chickens?  :shock:  

Should be great for toms and cucurbits.

Congratulations Peapod!! I got my allotment at the end of March and remember the joy and then the shock joy/shockjoyshockjoyshock!!  :shock:  Mine looked very much like yours with regard to weeds etc but we raised a small shed, built raised beds and have now cleared half of the plot. I didn't think I would have the time to grow things and I missed out on some veggies because we were so busy clearing but I now  have some crops growing.
