I'm in favour - I got mine from Wilko's for £12 and it's great (well, £12 great anyway!). I also went for the bags of compost on the bottom to stabilise it, which worked fine, now replaced with growbags of tomatoes and peppers. As others said it does get very humid and is always covered in condensation, but holds the warmth in very well. I do have my lettuce, spinach and rocket in there and haven't noticed any ill effects as of yet...

I just wondered what the forums thoughts where on the mini greenhouses you can get from B&Q, wilkinsons & B'n'M etc. Good/bad? I've currently got one as i have no space for a full sized glass one... these are the plastic ones i'm talking about.

So what do you folks think about them?[/quote

 i had one last year; Luvely sweet peppers suddenly all blighted.
Winter gales tore the plastic into shreads.
SO I have built one 2ft deep x 7ft high about 7ft long using wood and corrugated perspex.
Have great hopes for it. Haven't yet decided whether I need to put on a door - It faces S E and so gets all the sun    :D  :)   from morning till afternoon.
I'll use a max-min thermometer to see the range I get.
I would send a photo if I could remember how. Or perhaps some kind person would let me send it by Email and post it for me:?:

They're very handy - just don't leave things in too long, says person with a lot of leggy seedlings...
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.
