I would like to nominate my cat, Oliver as the greatest "ducking" cat in the world. His first attribute is that he is a great ratter. With the exception of a few flies and a really big moth, they are all he ever really seems interested in hunting. Very useful when you have poultry. The second thing is that he is scared of ducks. Not unusual, I hear you say, when you think about the size of a duck, but no, he's scared of day old ducklings. After the last hatch he seemed quite wary of them. This hatch he seemed to be getting used to them which was a concern so I thought I would give him a chance to be bad so I could shout at him so he know they're off limits (mean I know). Watched him creep up to the duckling sat on my lap and before I could do anything the duckling ran up to him, peeped and bit his nose. Never seen him move so fast and he's not been near them since

Thanks to Porffor's tutorial I have managed to upload some pics of the the awsome hunter and his fearsome opponent

Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

that chick sure looks scary, i have 5 cats and so far they seem to just observe the hens from a distance, i do have one cat called Sarah ( actually a boy but we got confused when they were kittens, hence Damien is a girl) who adopted an ophan lamb, could post some pics when my dad gets back if anyones interested to see them. i think Oliver looks cool.

Would love to see some pics :)

Would like to defend Ollie by pointing out that he was stalking a bumble bee in this pic but I'm not sure that makes him sound any more fearsome

Vember died in October last year,
I think they were all watching a bird when I took this one in 2006 :D

They would often nip his tail when they'd got bored with him
