[Snap Dragon]

for those of you that said on a previous thread you planted 2 runner/french beans to a pole....

do you let both beans grow on to produce pods or do you pull the weakest?

I'm just trying to work out how many poles to use when I put up my bean poles.

Just to be awkward, I plant runners one to a pole, (but I'm very fortunate to have the room), & the climbing French beans 2 to a pole - the plants aren't so hughe, but in general people mean 2 PLANTS to a pole.

I start mine in trays, (yes cat litter trays), & then transplant. Germination is better & I can be more assured of getting the plants where I want them.
