Last night we put the hatching eggs under our broody closed her in and left her to settle down on her eggs overnight.

This morning when I went to open up the broody coop she was perched on the edge of the nest box....................yikes!

She hadn't sat on the eggs at all but I think I know why.............this hen has only one eye and I don't think the other is 100% so maybe she just got confused and now I feel bad about it.

She came out of the broody coop had something to eat and drink etc and is now happily sitting on 8 jubilee Orpington eggs.

So panic over.

Wish I hadn't spoken so soon :cry:

She just isn't covering all the eggs and I really don't know what to do.

Maybe there are too many for her to cope with.......................help!
