We have had a bit of rain this afternoon and evening and crikey there is about 30 - 40 slug's and snails all about my petunia's and chrisanths they have been staped and squished
good look with all your brasica's  now it's geting wet

garlic pellets and garlic wash (same as for hostas)??

another thing slugs and snails dont like is coffee grounds round the base of the plant.

The only other known use of coffee grounds is in India, where its used to mop up puddles of elephant wee.

Also some people will vouch for crushed egg shells, finely crushed welsh slate and even piles of human hair..........
