[too many girls]

:oops: when i went to put my washing out this morning there were quite a few hens pecking around the yard, wanting to encourage them to be friendly (but not wanting to traipse all the way to the feed shed) i went back and rummaged in the pantry for something to give them, i found a half full bag of porridge oats, i sat on the doorstep to feed them calling here chicky chicky in a high rather silly voice, other hens picked up on it and came rushing from every where, that was at 11,oclock and there still there, all 68,  all outside the back door, they look like they are queing for the post office...........
