Anyone growing the little fellas?

Have germinated some salad chickpeas on the windowsill & plants look v. strong & interesting. Surprised to see not many references to them come up in a search of the forum so...

...any experience / tips much appreciated.

I think folks say they'd have to grow too many plants as the yield is so small apparently.

Yes, 1-2 to a pod, don't think you will find many growing them. Also need 4-6 months warmth of growing season. My book warns to wear gloves, as the hairy plants are skin irritant.
