hen not broody any more - but stopped laying!

Hi, be gentle with me I'm new here! I've had my 3 chooks for about a year, and in the hot weather one had all the symptoms you guys describe as being broody. Isolating her cured her of that, but it has been about 10 days and while she is happy to scratch about with the others, seems to be eating and drinking fine, looks happy she hasn't laid since. any ideas? do I just wait?

That's right - could be a few weeks before she comes back into lay. The colour and temperature of their combs iand size of their wattles s a good indicator of when they are coming into lay.

Hot bright red combs and dangly wattles = in lay.
