I just bought some Kelvedon Wonder L-M-P, so think I'll do that. But not just sow 8 this time
Think 40 will do, cos can't bear them cooked....has to be raw & fresh from the pod.

Fancy me planting 8 & thinking that'd be loads
I wondered why DD had sooooo many, thought he was daft!

For some reason, that is a popular misconception.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I have sown/planted 7 rows, 8 foot long each.  I like peas!  But next year if I can I might plant more becoz they freeze so well and the teeny tiny ones are great raw or in a stir fry so I get three meals out of every basket full I pick (small baskets!).  Am thinking of offering to dig over a friends allotment, or half of it to give me the extra pea space next year!!
