A fair number of my potato stalks seem to have taken a bit of a battering in the heavy rain, they were really tall  - I have been earthing up regularly but cant really earth them up any more, unless I wheelbarrow a load of soil from somewhere else.  They have had lots of TLC, manure in the trench, chicken manure pelletts after 6 weeks, and a liquid feed of nettle tea last week, and I have been looking at the jungle of foliage like a very proud father these past couple of weeks.

Now though some seem to have collapsed - thay all look very healthy, it is more like they were too top heavy, the stalks going in to the ground seem fine, so do you think they will be ok?  Still 6 weeks until I was planning on harvesting them.

Hi lee... I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago... they were fine after a couple of days of sunshine (and no wind)
