until my comfrey establishes well i am looking for the best organic potash feed for spuds and fruit for this season,i know threr are a few about (rock potash etc) but any ideas whats really good

I'm not chemically minded, but there aren't organic minerals, I suss, chill out, think and relax, plants need and use inorganic things to live and make life happen and turn them into organic stuff. :D

I have long understood potash deposits to be just that: deposits - of bird muck! They may not be organic in the chemical sense of being a compound of carbon, but they are surely organic in as much as they came from an organic source!

But then again the big boys in charge of the trade mark term 'organic' can say what they like, with no regard to common sense.
I demand the right to buy seed of varieties that are not "distinct, uniform and stable".
