No it's not too late. Get some more sown, you can doit directly into the ground  or into posts (or Richy's newspaper tubes).

BUT NO HEAT please  :!:

My youngest planted a bean at pre-school - two weeks ago - it's a foot tall already, I planted beans with my eldests class, last week, and they're now poking through, so why aren't my beans growing!!!!! Planted just over two weeks ago. Think I'm going to have to try again - thought it might be too late, but will def have another go now.

I thought my runners had failed- I planted them in pots 3 weeks ago and nothing came up. At the weekend I put some new seeds directly into the ground. Got home from work today and guess what? 10 of the original runner beans have poked their heads up! Looks like I am going to be overrun with beans :!:  :!:
There are three signs of old age. The first is your loss of memory, the other two I forget.

Germinated my beans in a dark airing cupboard and put them in paper pots in me mini greenhouse but it does get rather hot and humid in the sunny weather, will this be a problem

Get them out into a cold frame if you have one.  If not just put them in the mini greenhouse at night for a few nights and then leave outside all the time unless frost is forcast.
