I think that I over thinned them really, but I guess when I plant the modules out I can plant them closer together? I'll just pretend that I meant to do it that way and sow another batch as a successional crop!! Thanks for the feedback...

I plant mine about 4" (10cm) apart in a row and they always do well. Not sure what the recommended is, but this werks for me.

I don't think you can over-thin them much, they are quite huge plants. They will do OK on closer plantings, but come into their own on having some elbow room. A foot , say.
