I planted the leeks where I had just pulled out a crop of broad beans so maybe the nitrogen from their root nodules did me a favour

However., in my defence, mine didn't go in until September, and were little bigger than a blade of grass then, so Iv'e got great expectations for this years offerings!!

And ... I've put my broadbeans in where the leeks will eventually go! (coz I hadn't originally planned BB and had to shove them in somewhere!) So hopefully they'll grow as well as yours have! Fingers crossed
