Hi, I got a new Poland Hen to make up for the one eaten by the foxes, Crunchie, she is identical and is a soppy date too, she cuddled with me all afternoon.  She was very cold when I de-caged her from the auction so I warmed her up a bit.

Babe - a question for you.  Do your Polands sleep lying down on the floor all mine have done it instead of perching it so funny, this one Crunchie 2 lies with her head resting on the floor.  I am so lucky to get another like the first one but maybe they are all this daft, she has followed me round the house all afternoon getting into everything and pecking my toes when she wanted some food

if she's happy and healthy, i wouldnt worry at all about how and where she sleeps.

mine all sleep different, a bit like us i guess, some like lots of pillows, some like just one.

Can't wait to see some photos.    My Polish use to sleep on the floor of the coop until she became best friends with a silkie and now perches like the others so I wouldn't worry.  She does however spend more of her day time either following the silkie or perched in the doorway.  If she is out and about in the garden she tends to follow my feet and always pecks any feet around her especially in summer when you wear nail varnish.
