Just keeping them covered to keep weeds out till I can get planting out; so far I have got one bed ready for planting. Need to dig over and weed the other 3 beds then rake and will have 4 beds ready to grow my own veg this year

. But it sounds a good idea to plant thro' the membrane might help keep the weed out.
