Seen in Tesco, Askham Bar, York, today Rhubarb crowns £1.99 and 5 x asparagus crowns for £2.99

Yes I did grab the rhubarb but had already planted a load of asparagus crowns and unfortunately had no more space in my small backgarden which is turned over to deep raised beds.
I thought some of you might like the tip off so you could buy what I left behind!!

Is that a super Tesco or whatever they call em, ie the big uns or a standard size tesco?

I found the rhubarb etc in a big Tesco Extra - they also had blueberries, raspberries and some fruit trees.- apples pears cherries The trees were about 6.99 Good luck in your search

i cant get on with rhubarb crowns, have bought them on several occasions but just cant get them to grow so last year i bought a plant instead and its going great guns!
